Good news everyone -- George Clooney is alive and well ... just like Jeff Goldblum and Natalie Portman.
For some reason, some seriously messed up people at fakeawish.com dropped some evil rumors that Clooney was the latest star to croak this week ... and now, we've learned the fake stories have caused some serious concern within his circles.
TMZ spoke with Clooney's publicist, Stan Rosenfield, who told us he's been bombarded by frantic calls from legitimate media outlets and some of Clooney's friends who were genuinely shaken by reports of Clooney's death.
With the rash of actual celebrity deaths in the last few weeks, "death pranks" are at an all-time high -- but the people who are starting these terrible lies ... they're still the lowest of the low.

TLC is blasting back at reports claiming Jon Gosselin's alleged mistress -- Deanna Hummel -- will appear on the show when it starts back up in August.
TLC just released the following statement:
"There are no plans to use her. We are in hiatus and all future episodes haven't even been planned."
Wait, Jon and Kate's "reality" is planned by TLC?

Ryan Seacrest left H. Wood last night with an interesting back seat buddy -- the one and only Lindsay Lohan.
He told us he was just giving her "guidance" in her singing career -- but anyone who's ever listened to LiLo's Grammy-worthy "Confessions of a Broken Heart" clearly knows she doesn't need that.

People magazine is claiming they've broken up, but you can take it to the bank Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli are still together ... we've talked to people who really know!

It is kinda interesting ... the photos have surfaced just days after Brown released a video, proclaiming he wasn't a "monster."

It looks like Gisele Bundchen's taut little tummy is safe for now -- Tom Brady just shot down rumors that she's pregnant with his second kid.
The denial happened after the New England Patriot's quarterback finished practice today, when reporters asked him if Gisele was knocked up -- which Tom straight up answered by shaking his head and saying "No."
Gisele's husband then added the classic line, "One is enough."
We don't blame him, dude's already got his hands full.

According to Detroit radio personality Mojo from Mojo in the Morning, "Jon & Kate Plus 8's" Kate Gosselin is getting hands on with her bodyguard -- and he saw it with his own eyes!
Mojo says he saw Kate and her busted weave last night at the Marriott with her hired protector, Steve Neild ... and they were holding hands!

The reality television father of eight has allegedly been having an affair with a third grade teacher, Us Weekly is reporting. The two reportedly met at a bar back in mid-January.
The alleged other woman's brother tells the mag his sister is not a homewrecker, but adds this TMI detail -- "A lot of the time, it was pretty, um, gross listening to her, you know, um -- how do I say this? The walls are thin. Let's just say that. I mean, no one wants to hear his sister having sex, let alone with a married dude who's, like, almost twice her age and who has eight kids and a maybe-crazy wife. Ick. Nast."

Kate Gosselin yesterday in New York -- where she kept quiet about the alleged "nast" hookup.
Though a rep, Jon told us, "These allegations are false and just plain hurtful. As I adjust to the the attention that comes from being in the public eye, I need to be more careful and aware of who I am associating with and where I am spending my time. But the bottom line is, I did not cheat on Kate. I am sorry for putting my family in this awkward position, given some poor decisions and bad judgements I've made recently. I am working through this difficult time with my family. My family is my top priority."
